Molly and Lola are Spanish water dogs, did a consult as Molly the black one is struggling being around kids and guests who come to her house! Also the both of them love to bark at anybody in their yard (pool workers, mowers, people walking by their backyard) Molly growled at me upon entering their home and hid under the table! We did some engage/disengage work, making no eye contact with her, doing some scatter, by end of consult she was taking treats from my hand! Lots of recommendations given to owners to help alleviate her fears! Will definitely take time and work, important to understand not all dogs like peeps and prefer to be isolated from guests or hang out in an xpen for safety reasons!

This is 6 month old Tony! We just started working on puppy manners, loose leash walking, counter surfing and jumping on people! Best to start puppies early!

This is Pepper, 5 mon old Newfie who is having some fear issues, so we are working on basic obedience, introducing new enrichment items to boost confidence and get out of her house a bit more! Sweet girl who is going to do well!

Working some impromptu heeling, I didn’t have the proper easy quic chew treats but made these work! When you see the jumping for the treat while by my side… that’s handler error as I didn’t deliver to his level nor fast enough delivery, so he jumped to the height of my treat hand! 4 months old … I’m happy with our progress!

My new puppy “Rip” is now 3 months old and I try to do 3-4 ten minute trainings a day with him! This segment I didn’t have my clicker on me so I used my verbal marker of “Yes”… then followed immediately with his treat! He’s progressing right along, stay tuned as eventually he will be jumping through the hoola hoop! Good boy Rip! Always have fun when training!

Today I worked with two lab siblings who had NEVER swam before let alone retrieve in water before either! They nailed it! We started with life jackets on, bother were such good swimmers, we ended up taking off the life jackets! I know two labs who will take naps this afternoon!

This is my new puppy “Rip”! He is 10 weeks old here. It’s so important to get your new pup in new situations and expose them to life outside your home to have a well rounded adult! Rip isn’t fully vaccinated yet so you do have to be careful to not take them where a lot of loose dogs roam! In these pics, this week he went to Hobby Lobby with his sister Whiskey, then to the lake where he practiced his crate training and went swimming! I will make it a goal to take him different places each week!
