!! UPDATE on the Donkey foot recession!!

He is definitely on the mend! He was spunky and gave me the run around in the paddock getting him caught. Removed Boot and wrap to clean, air out and inspect today. Infection has not returned and overall hoof health is improving! Took new measurements to insure we are seeing hoof growth. Re-packed, wrapped, and booted. Thankful for the owner for trusting me with her animals hoof health!

A day in the life of Pro Hoof Care!

I am so thankful for my proactive clients! This little Donkey’s owner called concerned about his hoof wall cracking away. After soaking, cleaning and removing the infected area of hoof wall and treating for further protection, he also got some new footwear. We will monitor his progress closely together while he rebuilds a healthy hoof. I really do enjoy my job and the people and animals it brings me in contact with!

Jack said Saturdays are for Shoeing Horses. So we went and did a couple trims today. I think he just likes the “easy” money haha! So thankful for my clients that don’t mind him tagging along.
