Good afternoon everyone! A few things we are wanting to share that will help make this transition over to Morgan Animal Hospital a little easier!

• The phone number is (256) 502-8556

• With Dr Jan retired, we no longer have an avian veterinarian! Unfortunately, you will have to take your feather elsewhere as there is nothing we will be able to do.

• After a month or so, Morgan Animal Hospital will start seeing bunnies. Right now the current office is a little too small so please give them some time to move back into our building at NACB. As of right now, please use HVSE or the Summit for any emergencies or issues.

• If you have a current boarding reservation at the original NACB buildings, please try to arrive at your scheduled time so that someone is available to assist you

Lastly, we know this transition is going to be a little bit stressful and somewhat difficult for everyone involved until things can get settled and moved all into one place. We thank you for your patience and understanding, please contact us with any questions or concerns!

After 39 amazing years of serving the community as a veterinarian, Dr. Jan Strother has made the bittersweet decision to retire as of June 27, 2025. We are pleased to announce that Dr. Chuck Gill of Morgan Animal Hospital will be the new owner of the clinic. We will definitely miss Dr. Strother but look forward to future with Dr. Gill. 🩷

We will reopen TUESDAY, May 27th after Memorial Day!!!

We will not have a Veterinarian in clinic during this time as well. If you have an emergency, please refer to our posted emergency or urgent care clinic listings or please contact one of the surrounding local veterinary offices for care. Our Vet Assistant/Boarding Staff will be here to tend to the animals that are staying with us for the rest of the week/weekend, and will be here for scheduled boarding drop off/pick up appointments times only.

We hope that our clients have a great rest of the week, and weekend! Thank you!
