MillStone Labarador We are a small hobby breeder that has puppies occasionally. All our puppies are raised in our home.

Our labradors are shown in conformation, agility, tracking and obedience. We breed for temperament, health, work ability and excellent family dogs. We allow people of all ages to visit once the puppies reach 5 weeks of age. We send them home at 8 weeks after full examination by our veterinarian, first vaccination and wormed at 3, 5, and 7 weeks old. We do not ship puppies to there new owners, but they can fly in to CVG and have the puppy fly back with them in cabin with them .

Heads up! You may see these green, brown, or black pod-like balls on the ground in your neighborhood at this time of the year. They are nuts from black walnut trees. The picture shows black walnuts in various sizes and stages of maturity and decay. Every part of a black walnut tree (nuts, shells, leaves, and wood) is highly toxic to dogs. The initial symptoms of black walnut poisoning include vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and loss of appetite, followed by tremors, seizures, and jaundice. The toxins in black walnut trees can be fatal to dogs if not treated promptly. Do not attempt to use any home remedies if your dog has ingested black walnut. Time is of the essence--get your dog to a vet immediately. (More info in the comments.)

I’m planning on breeding Ember in the next few weeks. This will be a repeat breeding to Gus. We expect black, chocolate and yellow puppies to be born in December and would go home in February.

If interested please let me know and I will add you to the list. This most likely will be my last litter for awhile.

BLOAT
Know the signs

Bloat (GDV) is a life-threatening emergency that if not treated immediately is fatal.

Deep chested breeds like Standard Poodles are at higher risk but this can happen in any breed of dog.

⚠️ Signs to watch for:

▪️Sudden swollen or hard belly

▪️Trying to vomit but nothing comes out

▪️Restlessness, pacing, or inability to settle

▪️Excessive drooling

▪️Collapse or weakness

Ask your vet about gastropexy surgery.

If you suspect bloat, go to the vet right away. Minutes matter.
