Clever Cats Rescue is a home base 501c3 non profit rescue located out of Hampton Virginia. Spay and neuter!

We are here to help TNR feral cats and help friendly kittens (under 3m old) get adopted.

The good news ❤️ Our little girl who received the blood transfusion is holding her own and eating on her own! We don’t know her long-term outcome yet, but we remain hopeful. Overall, she seems to be doing good. We will update everyone on her diagnosis and what happened within the next couple days. 🐈‍⬛ HAPPY HALLOWEEN, be safe, have fun, eat lots of candy and don’t do anything illegal tonight🎃🍭

😭 through no fault of his own, Champ is back with us 💔
This poor guy needs to find a home that will love him unconditionally. Champ just arrived and we usually won’t advertise them so quick but he will struggle being back in a rescue. If there is anyone interested in this handsome guy please reach out to us. We are open to foster to adopt while he adjust and finds his lifelong best friend. Make sure pets are allowed where you live before you contact us ‼️

*Needs to be the only adult male cat and would be best if the only adult cat. He’s good with kittens.
*medium hair, so grooming is a must (brushing and etc).

When you’re in rescue, you know you can’t save them all. We understand that. But when you’re fighting to save the ones already in your care, and you don’t even know what you’re trying to save them from, that hits differently.

Because these are the babies you’ve already promised to protect. You’ve done everything you know to do, and you’re left searching for answers, praying for a miracle, and hoping it’s enough.

That kind of helplessness hits hard. 💔

‼️ Long post but please read 🙏

🐾 Rescue life is hard. Rescue life is expensive. Rescue life is exhausting.

It’s not always about the cute, adorable, friendly cats and kittens. We see the ugly side of rescue far more than the beautiful side. We see the sick, the scared, the “spicy,” the ones who need more time, more care, and more money than we have. And we see the ones who don’t make it, no matter how hard we fight for them. 💔

Rescue life isn’t for everyone, and we understand that. But if everyone did just a little something, it could make a HUGE difference.

💜 Donate food.
💜 Donate litter.
💜 Donate cleaning supplies.
💜 Help with vet bills, surgeries, and medical care.
💜 Share our posts and help our cats find homes.

Every single donation, no matter how big or small, makes an impact.

It takes a village to do what we do. Sometimes, even with a village, it still doesn’t feel like enough. The bills keep coming, the food disappears faster than we can replace it, and there are always more cats who need help.

But we keep going. We keep fighting. We never give up. Because every life matters, even the ones that are difficult, messy, expensive, or heartbreaking.

We have a kitten who is struggling and fighting for her life. She received a blood transfusion yesterday, and we still don’t know if she will survive. We never give up on them, but sometimes, despite everything we do, they give up first. 💔

For now, she is still fighting, and we will continue to fight alongside her. We will keep her comfortable, give her all the love we can, and hope she finds the strength to keep going.

Please keep this little girl in your thoughts and prayers. She needs all the love and positive thoughts we can send her way. ❤️🐾

🌟 Meet Star Child! 🌟

Star Child is a beautiful, sweet, and super-friendly kitten waiting for her forever home! 💕 She loves everyone she meets and is always happy to get cuddles and attention.

Star Child has a little head tilt that makes her extra adorable! 🥰 Her balance is a bit off, so she tends to stay closer to the ground, but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying life. She still loves to play, explore, and be a kitten!

This special girl has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will see just how amazing she is. Could Star Child be the one to steal your heart? 💖
