Ever wonder why tarantulas look extra spooky hiding in webs? 🕷️
That’s because they’re getting ready to molt! Basically shedding their entire exoskeleton to grow bigger! During this time they’re super vulnerable, so they’ll often web up their enclosure and hide out until the process is complete.

Fun fact: after a molt, a tarantula can even regrow lost legs over time! 👀✨
