This is very important for anyone that has feathered horses. I clipped my mares feather this year and you would be surprised what hides under the hair.

CLIP YOUR HORSES LEGS. DON'T WAIT UNTIL ITS TOO LATE AND YOU CANT AVOID IT. CLIP THEM. CLIP THEM NOW.

THE FEATHER CAN GROW BACK IF THERE'S NOTHING WRONG.

Skin crusts? Lumps above the feather? Itching? Stomping? Bleeding? Folds visible on xrays? Greasy heel? Recurrent infections?
