Been off for a little while focusing on some young dogs, but we got out tonight and threw some marks and ran some blinds. Ganso still has it, Reina still has a mind of her own (did great until she picked up the poison bird on the third blind after THREE casts away from it!).

Threw M1, M2, M3 as a walk-around triple.
Came back to the line.
No’d off M3 and ran B1.
Picked up M1.
Lined up for M3, no’d off and ran B2.
Picked up M3.
Lined up for M2, no’d off and ran B3.
Put the dog back on the trailer, ran another dog.
Got back out and picked up M2.

Holy cow! What a great time today the Inducky HRC hunt test! Great people, great tests, beautiful grounds, and an EPIC shrimp bawl (boil, for us Yankee types) to end the day! Not to mention a successful day for the Dutchman Kennels truck!

Special congrats to HR Redwood’s Crimson Phoenix who earned her first Finished pass! She’s worked hard this summer to get there and today, she put all the pieces together!

Good set of on-fee-ones last night. The last set was run as a poison.

Great night to run some marks with the training group! Threw M1 and M2, then picked up M1. Next, ran B1, then threw M3, but then picked up M2, and finished with M3. Every bird was a “memory bird” tonight.
