Loudoun Fairfax Hunt is proud to present the final competition of the 2025 Virginia Hunter Pace series on Sunday May 4th, 2025.

There will be traditional fried chicken provided by kind contribution of Hannah Rogers Tucker& Family.

The Masters kindly request that any members or guests that wish to please bring a side dish in order to expand the food for a pot-luck-style luncheon, which will be open to all.

The club also wishes to thank Russell Shifflett and Andrew Camp from Shifflett Sport Horses for their willingness to help host this hospitality tent.

On Tuesday April 22nd we are having a “puppy practice” for the upcoming hound shows.

Our young ones need to get used to crowds and noise before their big show debuts!

We will be doing a pot luck tailgate cookout on Tuesday April 22nd at 6pm at the Kennels at Overbrook.

BYOB your own chairs, drinks and a dish to pass. Master Paul Ritsema will have his grill and brats cooking.

Calling all subscribers, guests and friends -

The races are nearly upon us! Set up is coming along nicely, but there is still plenty to do. We are excited to have several sanctioned races this year, and that means we need even more volunteers.

We will have work days this Friday at 10 AM and Saturday at 9 AM. Sunday the gates open at 10 AM and we'd like to have you all there by 9:45 so we can assign tasks, etc. Many of you already have assignments for Sunday, but since we've had several cancellations, we'll need to make some last minute assignments and we appreciate your flexibility.

And Monday, we need to pack it all up, so we'll start as early as you get there.

ALL HANDS ON DECK

Our Point to Point races are just under 2 weeks away and that means it is time to start the set up process at the course !

We are convening
Saturday April 12th at 10am and Sunday April 13th at 12pm to install course hazard fencing as well as the paddock fencing.

The process involves t-posts, snow fencing and zip ties so no hard labor is involved and the more people we have to help, the quicker it will go.

Please consider lending your support to help ensure the continued success of this event and the importance it plays to our club.

Gloves, black zip ties, nippers, and post drivers are useful to bring if you have these items on hand.

What a fantastic evening at the Loudoun County Equine Expo at Stone Tower Winery! Huge thanks to the Loudoun County Equine Alliance for putting together such an amazing event! 🙌 And a big shoutout to all our LFH members who showed up in full force — it was awesome to see so many familiar faces and meet so many new ones! It was also great connecting with all the incredible equine organizations in the county.

We’re already looking forward to seeing our new friends out on the hunt field soon! 🐎
