Our office space (adjacent to the treatment area) is being renovated this week to allow for improved use of this space in preparation for adding a third exam room. Demolition has taken place over the weekend to avoid the stress and disruption this would have caused to our patients and clients. We expect renovations to last Monday through Wednesday of this week. While we will remain open and operating as usual, this may entail a few changes to your experience if you come to see us:
- Since the office is located adjacent to the treatment area, we may ask if you are comfortable with us performing more care items (e.g. vaccinations, blood draws) in the exam room rather than utilizing our treatment space. If you prefer not to be present for these procedures, or your pet typically does better away from you, you are welcome to step out into the reception area for these interventions.
- While it is common for us to have patients stay in our kenneled area for procedures or outpatient care, we will be limiting this as much as possible for these three days as this would necessitate patients being in close proximity to the construction area for a prolonged period of time.
- There may be the usual construction sounds heard throughout your visit. If you know your pet is sensitive, please communicate with our staff. For non-urgent visits, we will be happy to reschedule you to a time outside of these three days. If you have an urgent concern and need to be seen, we may ask you to wait in your vehicle until we have a treatment room available in order to limit exposure to potential stressors.
As always, if you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team at [email protected] or at (978) 468-4408. The individual leading this project is a pet owner so understands the need to be in and out as quickly as possible to allow our patients to continue to receive the care they need!
