Nothing speaks louder than the experiences of the horses and owners I have the privilege of working with.

Melo is unique - meaning that he was the horse volun-told to participate in a live demo I was recording as part of .with. Without focusing on anything in particular, Melo still showed that he LOVED the spa day.

Thank you CJ for trusting Khateri Equine Wellness to be part of your horse's wellness journey. Every horse deserves to feel and perform at their very best. 💚

When horses work in hot or humid weather, their bodies work overtime to stay cool. Blood is redirected toward the skin, they lose fluids and electrolytes through sweat, and their muscles have to work harder than usual.

Even after your horse's breathing returns to normal and they've cooled down, they may still be dealing with:
🐴 Muscle fatigue
🐴 Tightness or stiffness
🐴 Reduced flexibility
🐴 Soreness after a long day of riding or showing

That's why recovery doesn't stop once the sweat dries.

Proper cooling, hydration, and electrolyte replacement should always come first. Once your horse has recovered from the heat, bodywork like equine cupping can help encourage muscle relaxation and support recovery after those long summer rides and show days.

Summer riding is hard work—make recovery part of your horse's routine.

Cupping is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that can help support circulation, muscle relaxation, recovery, and overall comfort. Whether your horse is competing every weekend, hitting the trails, or enjoying retirement, it can be a valuable part of a proactive wellness program.

Have questions after watching? I'd be happy to answer them in the comments or by message!

That's a wrap on a week at the Benton Rodeo!

Despite the rain, smoky skies, and ever-changing conditions, it was great to be part of another event that brought together competitors, families, and the local rodeo community. A huge thank you to the rodeo committee, volunteers, and everyone who worked hard behind the scenes to make the weekend happen.

After intense exercise, your horse's muscles produce lactic acid as a natural byproduct of exertion. While the body will clear it on its own, muscle soreness and fatigue can linger during the recovery process.

Equine cupping may help support circulation and lymphatic movement, encouraging the body's natural recovery mechanisms and helping muscles process metabolic waste more efficiently.

Whether your horse just finished a barrel race, rodeo, show, conditioning ride, or a hard day of training, cupping can be a valuable addition to their post-performance recovery routine.

A recovered athlete today is better prepared for tomorrow. Message us to learn more or book a session!🐴
