She’s large, robust and sweet tempered to boot. We’re so excited to have her here and plan to pair her next season ❤️

I still can’t believe this perfect little baby Sphaerodactylus elegans hatched in one of my enclosures. This species is a joy to keep and breed. This young hatchling will go through a drastic ontogenetic color change in its first year of life, ultimately transitioning into muted tones of yellow and brown overlayed with a subtle dappled pattern. For the time being, I’ll enjoy these little saltwater topical fish mimics in my terrestrial tanks.

Making his debut is this absolute yummy beefcake produced by Jillian .exotics. I’ve been staring at him like a creep since he arrived and I make no apologies 😂 He not fully fired up in this video but close. Still photo is him fired down. Excited to pair him up mid 2026!

We hatched a new species this week! Check out this CBB Sphaerodactylus elegans doing its thing! A true micro gecko that goes through an ontogenetic color change from by the time it reaches maturity. Currently I’m keeping 1.1 pairs of four different Sphaerodactylus species. Two of the four have recently reproduced and we couldn’t be more excited! I don’t remove the eggs, as unlike some other gecko species, this genus doesn’t (as far as I know) cannibalize its young. Looking forward to watching this baby grow!
