Aloha friends — we’re excited to share the first steps toward creating the Hawai‘i Soils Lab, a community-based space dedicated to testing, teaching, and restoring the health of our island soils.
We’re in the early research and fundraising phase, and we want your input! How can this lab best serve Hawai‘i’s growers, land stewards, and composters? What services, education, or collaborations would make this space most impactful for our community?
Our vision is to make soil testing accessible, regenerative, and rooted in ʻāina, connecting science with local knowledge to build resilient food systems across the islands.
