Another Breeder Brag!!! We are so honored to have such amazing clients who take their Stellar dogs to the highest levels! We are so proud of Isabella and Raydon and know they are not finished achieving new heights!!
Hi!
I'm sure you remember me, Isabella Eskett. I got Radon (Stellar's Chemical Reaction) from you and he is going to be 10! I just want to tell you what a great 10 years it has been with him.
I can't remember the last time I emailed, but Radon has done so many incredible things. He went to Westminster and I finished his championship entirely owner handled as a junior, including a 5 point major! He was an amazing intro to dog shows and has the best temperament for it. He has since retired from the show ring, but I did bring him out for the specialty last year and did the veterans class with him. I wasn't expecting him to win, but we had lots of fun seeing our old friends. I also met Radon's half sister! Her name was Mystic's Zap That Thirst and they have the same sire. I think she went Best of Opposite in the specialty, so that was amazing.
Since Radon's retirement from the show ring, he has settled into a new job: big brother. We foster for the local shelter and he just loves the kittens and puppies. He is very gentle but does teach them manners. We also have acquired goats and he loves them! He would live outside with them if we let him. He has also met horses, sheep and cows. Nothing bothers him. He is also a therapy dog and visits schools and colleges. I added a photo of him and I visiting a class a few years back.
Retirement does not mean he has slowed down! I still walk him 4 miles a day, go on hikes and take him to his agility class weekly. He still jumps 20 inches and shows zero signs of slowing down. He is just so healthy and we have had no major medical issues with him even as he ages. When I go hiking with him, people can't believe he's 9. He looks great! I am hoping to try Fast Cat next year. I haven't had an opportunity to try it yet because it's rarely offered near me, but I've heard rumors some coursing clubs are starting up out here in New England and will be offering it. I'm sure he'll love it.
In summary, Radon is just the best dog, and I've had a lot of dogs! He's the healthiest, sweetest dog ever. I wouldn't change him for a thing. I am hoping to get many more years of life from him. Thank you for lovingly bringing my best friend into the world.
