I I know a lot of my clients are personal friends so wanted to share on my personal page in
Addition to my Pet Sitting Homeward bound page!
I know it sounds like a broken record but after reading and seeing other sitters experiences with the questionable 24/7
constant care versus overnight I decided to be pro active! I want to be sure my clients are happy and understand the differences!
I am logging my hours that I spend with your animals, just in case there is any question! That includes hours for those that are allowed to ride in the car with me and go places!
Overnight service only is usually approximately 12 hrs 6pm to 6am or 7pm to 7am or 8pm to 8am etc
For example if I book a 7 night overnight that’s basically 84 hrs in total! Vs constant care
24.hrs x 7 = 168 hrs! I’m averaging 123 hrs for the 7 days of overnights which is way over the overnight requirement of 84 hours! Just below the constant care hours of 168! and being paid for overnight only! Which is approx 60 to 75 per night. 75 x7 =525 divided by 123 hours is $4.26 an hour! I am not complaining just explaining!
So yes it appears im shorting myself considerably and at some point may adjust but I love my clients and critters!
Im willing to go the extra mile for your babies! And if they need drop ins during the day im obviously currently doing that at no extra charge! I have not had these issues with any of my clients but just in case!
I just don’t want this to be an issue or questionable with MY clients and want to be completely transparent!
With that in mind I am very flexible! I can work with whatever you need, I am available day and night, just need you to tell me your expectations up front! This is my full time job now, prior to now I had a part time day job requirement!

Animals make life so good! And no matter my mood when I get to your house all my problems disappear! It’s a guarantee to put a smile on my face! And even make me laugh! It’s great for the soul!
