To all the people who, “work all day and it’s not fair to the dogs.” Prior to getting a pup all scenarios must be anticipated. Divorce. New jobs. Job losses. Moves.
I understand there are extenuating circumstances and you have to do what’s best for everyone involved. However, you need to also think about would your dogs life be better in your home where you’re likely free on the weekends and home, or would it be better at the shelter where they are in rooms/kennels all day besides their 30 min-1hr of outside time and on a time frame before getting put down?
Dog sleep a lot! Obviously, it varies based on breed, age, and the dog itself, but usually 1-2hrs of exercise a day + some enrichment and they’re all set!

All that to say, if you have the means, hire a dog walker!
These babies posted below get walks on the daily and some running time because their parents hired me💛.
