Please pray for not only us, but for our grannies. These ladies started showing aggression towards each other, our toddler as well as myself yesterday. We currently have them fully separated from each other which seems to be making it worse. At this time we are not comfortable releasing them to a foster as it’s not safe for anyone including the grannies. We are working closely with our vet, however they think it may be dementia settling in. This would explain the random mood swings causing violent outbursts.

We are going to give these pups everything we have to try and calm these outbursts before making final decisions.

Please just pray, these ladies have been through so much and they truly deserve a fighting chance!

Someone got his first meal tonight!! His foster mom has him spoiled!! How we got lucky to have a weight loss expert on our side I’ll never know!! We’re so thankful for her though!! 🩷

Yesterday was such a break through for the Grannies!! They met a small group of our seniors and pups! Rita of course didn’t give an issue, Miss Grouch Granny tried to act tough, but we found out fast she’s just a nervous Nelly that needs understanding!

They had an appointment yesterday and we got news that we expected but didn’t want! Rita is heartworm negative, but has extremely bad hips, Miss Grouchy is a little worse, she has heartworm that at her age will do more damage than good to treat, she also has lung damage. They both had a pretty nasty skin infection from the flea infestation.

Even with all the bad they still have the will to live! We are currently taking applications for hospice fosters. With this foster you will be expected to just love them like their dad did! The hard thing to know is when one is ready to leave this world, we will be letting the other leave with them! At their age, condition and bond they won’t make it without one another. It wasn’t an easy decision to come to. But I just know when they reunite with their dad they’re going to want to do it together!

Thank you to the best support system for helping me save these seniors! I can’t do what I do without you guys and your amazing support!! We go through supplements and pill pockets like you wouldn’t believe! Getting donations like this helps us focus on vet bills without stressing!
