These angels had a big day yesterday!!

Sammy is settling in wonderfully with his foster mom! We were hoping he could be neutered yesterday but he had other plans! He ended up being to dehydrated so he will see our vet to see what is going on and try to get a blood panel done.

Gemma and Reese are still a little groggy from their spays yesterday, however their foster parents are already head over heels for them! They are being monitored closely as they aren’t showing signs of interest in anything other than sleep right now. With babies this tiny it’s beyond important to watch their every move after anesthesia.

They are truly living their best lives and it’s truly not possible without fosters willing to step up and help us save them!🥹💙🐾

Who can foster through PAWS?! We absolutely adore this shelter and have pulled many pups from them!

🍨 Meet Sundae! 🍨

Just like her name, Sundae is as sweet as can be. This beautiful girl has been through a lot. She was living comfortably in a foster hospice home, but due to some dog-related issues in the household, she has found herself back at the shelter and searching for another soft place to land.

Sundae is estimated to be around 5 years old and is currently living with congestive heart failure and kidney failure. While her diagnoses may sound daunting, Sundae is not ready to give up on life. When properly maintained on her medications, she enjoys life, loves people, and still has so much affection left to share.

What Sundae needs most is a quiet, loving home where she can relax, be spoiled, and enjoy whatever time she has left surrounded by comfort and kindness. We will provide her medications, and our clinic team is happy to answer any questions about her care.

Sundae has done well with other dogs here at the shelter, though we always recommend and welcome meet-and-greets with any resident dogs.

If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who will repay your kindness with endless love, please come meet Sundae. If you have questions about her, please reach out to us through messenger or email! She deserves a cozy couch, gentle pets, and a family to call her own. ❤️🐾
