🎉❤️ Adoption Alert: Bubby! ❤️🎉

We are so excited to announce that Bubby is officially adopted!

He doesn’t have to go anywhere as he gets to stay right where he is with his amazing foster family who have decided to make him a permanent member of their family.

Bubby recently underwent extensive dental work, and now he can focus on healing and enjoying life in the comfort of the home he knows and loves.

When Bubby first came to us, he was a terrified little guy who wasn’t sure about the world around him. Watching him slowly come out of his shell, gain confidence, and learn to trust has been one of the most rewarding journeys. The transformation we’ve seen is a testament to the patience, dedication, and love of his foster family.

Congratulations to Bubby and his family! Thank you for giving this sweet boy the happy ending he deserves. 🐾

I very rarely share personal things on this page, but I did want to show the reason why I’ve likely been lagging behind a bit with responses or check ins.
My oldest graduated high school and the ceremony was this morning. Any mom knows the emotions and the work that goes into that, especially for the month of May 🤪
Being a one woman show at home and in rescue is a tough balance, but you all make it doable. Thanks to fosters who understand and are always there to help, and the volunteers that remember our mission. I couldn’t manage this whole thing without a village, and I’m thankful for the little little village that follows this page ❤️

That's rescue life. Sometimes it's simply impossible to say no when a senior dog needs help.

I somehow forgot to show you all our other newbie. Intake has been very slow this month because it’s had to be in order to stay afloat.
When I saw this tiny girl at the ripe old age of 17 in a shelter, there was no question on pulling her.
She’s an absolute angel ❤️ Daisy is about 7 pounds and a fragile lil thing, so no large dogs or rowdy kids for her. She did have surgery for spay and mass removal so will see our vet soon for removal of sutures and an overall checkup.

I would love to get Miah settled into her new home!
This cutie is a 10 pound, 13 year old chihuahua and she is a complete shadow dog ❤️ Miah loves her people and does well with other dogs. She will crawl up on to your shoulder like a little baby 🥰 Miah would enjoy a home where she can go a walks every day as this is one of her favorite hobbies.
She is scheduled for a dental next month but she could certainly be adopted prior to that with the understanding we will cover that dental as long as adopter gets her to the appointment.

This morning, I stopped by the vet to pick up the remembrance paw print made for Bruno.
This is something I offer to cover for any foster who loses one of our pups. It’s a simple way to reflect on the difference made and the memories each dog leaves behind.
Each and every dog we pull matters and it makes no difference if they were with us a day or for years. They continue to matter even after they’re gone. We make sure of that ❤️

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Dianna 🌟

Today we want to give a huge shoutout to one of our absolute top helpers — Dianna! ❤️

Dianna wears so many hats for our rescue. She has helped with transports, fostered pups in need, adopted, donated, and is always willing to step up wherever she’s needed most.

Most people know that I personally always have 1-2 fosters (sometimes more 😅) at my house along with my own dogs. While I’m at work, Dianna takes time out of her own busy day to come let the dogs out so they can enjoy extra time outside, stretch their legs, and get some love and attention during the day. That kind of support means more than words can say.

Rescue truly takes a village, and people like Dianna are a huge part of what keeps us going. Her kindness, consistency, and willingness to help wherever needed never go unnoticed.

Thank you, Dianna, for loving our senior pups like your own and for always being there when we need you. We appreciate you more than you know! 🐾❤️
