FAQ: "What's the Boarding process like?"

I wouldn’t leave my beloved cats in the hands of just anyone and I don’t expect you to either! Before we begin building our relationship, we’ll meet for a casual interview and you can see how your cats respond to me so everyone is as comfortable as possible with the process. We'll go over some forms for their care and there is no fee for this meet and greet. Once you’re established as a client, you are able to reserve a boarding room when you are ready. Reservation requires a non-refundable deposit that is 50% of your total. Once that is collected, a boarding room is held for you. The day you drop them off, you’ll provide their carrier, food, some familiar litter that they’re used to, any medications/supplements they need, whatever comfort items you’d like, and your balance. It’s a pretty simple process and I try to keep things easy and clear!

I still have openings for holiday care! If you're going out of town for Xmas or New year's, CCC can board your kitties in one of my comfy bedrooms or do home-visits if your kitty doesn't like to leave the house! Pet Care Visits available!
In-home care includes feeding, litterbox maintenance, medication administration, and socialization to your cats comfort level. Unlike other businesses, I never charge “per cat”, so you won’t have any sneaky additional fees!

CCC has holiday care available this month with more flexibility as my husband has joined in the effort! Scott is a cat-fanatic and has been silently working behind the scenes with CCC as my private security guard, financial advisor, handyman, and all around advocate – all while learning about kitty behavior and appreciating these little amazing creatures that we love so much over the years! If your cat has ever boarded here, he has no-doubt laid on the floor with them for snuggles at some point ❤️!

Did you know I do nail trims for rabbits, guinea pigs, and other little creatures? While cats are the center of my world, I also care for these little beasts. Nail trims have an extra bonus of the quick inspection to check your babies over for hidden wounds and overgrown claws that cause issues. My passion is cats.

Compassionate Cat Care, LLC began with the idea of helping people enrich the lives of their pets. What better way to do that than to pet sit for them and make sure they’re taken care of well while their humans are away? To some people, pets are more than family, they’re our entire lives. We make our daily routines around their schedules, spend our last dollar on their care, and give them everything we possibly can to make sure they have the most comfortable lives. We rely on them emotionally and our bonds are irreplaceable. Our pets are our world, and we are theirs. My invaluable experience, especially with cats, began in 2005 when I started working at an animal shelter and it’s never stopped. Since then I’ve learned so much over the years about medical and behavior issues, treatments, and enrichment. Some of my roles have included being a Caregiver, Feline Program Manager, Animal Care Technician, and Veterinary Assistant. I am also currently enrolled in college to become a Veterinary Technician! Animals are my life and this journey to share my heart with your pets is the beginning of something wonderful. I’m excited to meet some amazing kitties along the way!
