If you would have told me a few years ago that I’d be praying over eggs, I probably would have laughed at you. One of my best friends warned me when I did our first incubation that it was addictive. Little Brown Egg Co. you were right 😂
First hatch was on the 17th and we’re already on day 8 of a new batch of chicks. We candled them last night and I am so amazed at God’s handiwork.
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you.”
Isn’t it incredible that God knows every single detail about you and ALL the creatures of the Earth? He knows exactly what all these chicks will look like before we ever see them hatch. What an AWESOME God 🫶🏼

I was just talking to someone about this!

“God won’t give you more than you can handle”
Guess what? That’s NO WHERE in the Bible.
What the Bible does say though is that he’ll give you more than you can handle so that you rely on him. There’s even scripture in the Bible that tells us this. It’s actually in 2nd Corinthians 1:8-11 when Paul is speaking and says that he and his companions were “so utterly burdened beyond OUR strength that we despaired of life itself.” He then says, “Indeed, we felt that we had received the sentence of death. But that was to make us rely NOT on ourselves but on God who raises the dead. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and He will deliver us. On Him we have set our hope that He will deliver us again.”

Paul was burdened beyond his own strength. He had more than he could handle. And so God, through Paul, is saying people can experience more suffering than they can handle. It’s when we rely on God and trust in him that the burden becomes bearable and we’re able to have strength through it.

One of my all time favorite verses in the Bible that I hold on to in my times of struggle is 2 Corinthians 12:8-10
“Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
