We had an eventful evening and morning at the Cozy Café. My husband accidentally knocked down a bird's nest and the mama never came back.

We warmed them up last night, but sadly two didn't make it 😢. But these two frizzy little nuggets made their way to a wildlife rehabilitation center this morning. I hope they survive!

Familiar Fact Friday 🐾

Did you know cats can suffer from seasonal allergies, just like people?

Every time the seasons start to change, poor Gigi gets itchy skin. She grooms the irritated spots so much that she sometimes ends up with little bald patches or sores.
Earlier this week we took a trip to the vet to get her some medication to help calm the reaction and give her skin time to heal.

Allergies in cats can be triggered by things like pollen, dust, or other environmental changes.

If your cat ever starts:
• grooming obsessively
• losing patches of fur
• developing scabs or irritated skin
…it’s worth checking in with your vet. Allergies are more common than many people realize.

Sensitive kitties deserve a little extra cozy care during seasonal changes 🐈‍⬛✨
