🏠Neighbors of Viewpoint East Apartments!

Do you or your kids love dogs and want to volunteer to help a neighbor near you?

Jasper (left) and Baxter (right) are needing help with walking, feeding, filling up water, a bit of cleaning, and changing their potty pads. Their owner is disabled and can use some help in their day-to-day care!

🐶 A little about Jasper:
Jasper is an 8 year old mini Aussie. He loves his mama and wants to stick by her side! He can be won over pretty easy with treats, and I’m sure would love some extra play time, being a high energy breed. He doesn’t have much experience on leash and will likely pull a bit.

🐶 A little about Baxter:
Baxter is a 16 year old bichon frise. He has some mobility trouble, and some limited vision, as well as dementia.

These dogs would be great for a kid 12+ to volunteer to help! I’d recommend parental supervision if on the younger side, to help them give these dogs the proper care they need.
If your kid has dreams of working with animals like I did as a child, this would be a great step forward for them into the world of pet care and see what it’s like, all while helping a neighbor at the same time!

If you and/or your child are interested, please send me a private message with age and any experience if any! I will happily get you in touch with Jasper and Baxter’s mom if I think it’s a good fit!

I am SO excited to announce this new service! Trail Waggers Pet Care is now taking Dog Handling bookings for weekend events!
Want your pup to be at your wedding? Whether they’re your pup of honor, being walked down the isle, or simply just a guest sitting in a chair, Trail Waggers knows first hand the importance of your dog being included in such a special day!
I’m also happy to provide care for your pup for other special events that you want your dog included, but maybe don’t want them to feel like a chore. Forget about taking them outside for potty breaks, feeding them their dinner, etc. let me do it for you!

Yesterday I got to meet with Tracey with Gig Harbor Canine Cottage!
She runs a great, small boarding facility at home, and is so great at what she does! If you’re ever looking for boarding, I highly recommend her for your pups 🐶

🐶June Availability🐱
We have some openings we don’t usually have in June so book fast if you need care for your pets! Trail Waggers mornings, more specifically Tuesday mornings fill up FAST!

I don’t yet have any snack or celebration planned this June- any ideas?

Due to a personal emergency, I will not have office/communication hours tomorrow, February 20, and Friday, February 21. Any visits scheduled for these days will still remain as scheduled. Any communication aside from these visits will be on hold.

To make up for the change in office hours this week, my office hours Saturday, February 22 and Sunday, February 23 will be extended from 10:00AM - 3:00PM to 8:00AM - 6:00PM

The majority of my work is with dogs, but I LOVE getting some time with cats too!

I secretly love the cats that are scared of new people and hide- it makes me want to work so hard to get them to love me!

Ziggy was a bit nervous of me coming to their house, but he warmed up so quickly and ALWAYS wanted to get belly rubs 💛
