Sue is a SPAYED female!
House trained, lazy & laid back!
Loves kids, but likes her space from other dogs as she has gotten older.. she loves attention.. and people food.. with that being said… she will jump a small fence, roam the neighborhood and break into chicken coops or anywhere someone is throwing scraps out.. I’m afraid she is going to get into something bad one day or even hit out on the road trying to roam the streets… she needs a place with lots of room and someone who will give her all the scraps she can find! 😂

We have two adult blue Merle females looking/needing forever homes!

Willow is AKC / ASDR, never been bred can go with or without rights.. She is NOT good with kids. Main reason we are needing to rehome! She can NOT be trusted with smaller kids. She does great with my boys but they have friends and we can’t take the risk. We have tried and tried but she needs a place where she doesn’t have to be worried about with kids as a liability.

Sue is ASDR - she is SPAYED! She absolutely great with kids, she is ok with other dogs but she likes to have her personal space with them. LOVES scraps / people food.. she will steal your food if you leave her unattended.. or bust into your neighbors chicken coops for scraps.. doesn’t mess with the chickens.. just wants their scraps.. I can NOT keep her home due to this.. she found the neighbors chicken scraps and I can’t keep her from going to get them.

They aren’t big on being fenced in a small yard.. both need space to move around.. in other words.. they will jump a small fence! So wide open spaces, ranches free roaming land would be perfect for either of them. They do good about staying around the property but they do like to roam around our small neighborhood as well.

Both are clear panel.

Shaving is a Terrible Idea (The Science)

⚠️ THE GREAT SHAVE MYTH ⚠️

When the fur gets knee-deep, it’s tempting to grab the clippers. You think, "He’ll be cooler, and I’ll have less mess!" Please, stop. Shaving a double-coated dog is a terrible idea.

Your dog’s coat is a biologically designed HVAC system. The long guard hairs shade them from the sun and repel heat, while the soft undercoat traps air to insulate them—keeping them cool in summer and warm in winter.

When you shave them, you strip away their cooling system, leaving them vulnerable to heatstroke and sunburn. It rarely grows back the same, often returning patchy or velcro-like.

Trimming is okay for neatness, but shaving into the undercoat is a battle you will lose. Let’s keep them fluffy and functional!
