SHARE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who rescues animals and incorporates them into programs to teach children and adults of all ages how to care for them. Southern Hope Animal Rescue is a family & volunteer operated 501(c)(3) organization that offers horse boarding, riding lessons, birthday parties, petting pen, adoptable animals and more! Our amenities include: a modern barn with five 12'

x12' fully matted box-stalls with access to grass pasture, concrete center aisle, ceiling fans, miniature horse stalls, wash stall with hot and cold water, tack storage area, large grass semi-private turnout with automatic waterers, large run-in sheds, a lighted dressage arena and round pen with sand footing.

A balance of structured and unstructured play so kids can be kids. Come play at the farm. Space is available at Winter Break Day Camps and in our after-school program for Shawboro ES and Central ES students. Check out our posts for more details.

In 2025, we’re excited to announce that all the silent auction baskets will be available for bidding online! Each item will be showcased in a photo album on the evening of December 12th, and the bidding will commence immediately. All bids made before the event will be recorded on the in-person sheets, and the bidding will continue throughout the event.

Come meet sweet Portia at our 12th Annual Christmas in the Country!

For those just tuning in to Portia…
She came in a couple months ago with a litter of puppies and gave us all a scare and a little bit of a wild goose chase for a day and a half when she got away from us. She has been with a devoted foster family learning how to be a real dog after living years on a chain.
She is four years old, spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter in life!
She is learning leash manners, house & crate training, and Love! She does tend to get overwhelmed with certain dog personalities. So an only dog home, or a home with a confident secure dog would be best.❤️

Elf is still waiting to meet his forever family! All he wants for Christmas is youuuu!

He’s an 8 week old larger mixed breed pup who is short and stout like an English bulldog!

He’s had age appropriate vaccines, dewormer, been microchipped and adoption fee includes neuter!
