With a mission to bridge the gap between small businesses and organizations, AJ will share invaluable insights on how to register your company with the Office of Equity and Engagement.
Backed by an impressive background in business development, AJ holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a specialized focus in Marketing from Western Michigan University- Haworth College of Business.

Jessica Lynne Jackson is a serial entrepreneur. She focuses her work on the visibility and inclusion of marginalized bodies. She is a Co-Founder of Copperhousedet, Detroit’s first Cannabis-positive AirBnB.
As a social equity qualified Legacy Detroiter, Jess is pursuing licensure for Detroit's first worker- owned cannabis cooperative.
She is the Director of External Affairs and Social Equity at Common Citizen, Michigan’s largest vertically integrated cannabis producer and oversees their corporate social responsibility strategy and community reinvestment fund.
