We want to send a shout out and sincere thank you to one of our favorites, Polka Pops Cafe/That Polish Girl Catering. They put in grueling hours during Pulaski Days and the Dumpling Festival to produce some of the best Polish food around. The tips they collected for all their hard work and delicious food were donated to us - $163 worth!

Dziekuje!

We’re celebrating National Black Cat Day! 🐈‍⬛

Highlighting the day for us is little Black Betty, also known as Black Beauty. 🖤

Betty is probably the smartest of her littermates. She was the first to go from formula to dry kitten food! Trailblazer! 😻

She loves her pets and kisses, and has a super loud purrr for such a tiny thing. 🤗

She is the brave big sister of the group and has been taking care of her brothers, helping bathe them after meals. She may be mature for her few months, but she sure can keep up with those boys, too!

Betty is around 5 months old. 🥳

Location: in foster

Black Betty would love a home with you! Please contact us by message or email if you’re excited to adopt her!

Mama Kettle Corn is a very loving cat with humans. We know she's also good with small dogs. She has not been very tolerant of other cats, but she has been in mama bear mode. She's now been spayed for a few weeks and those hormones are dissipating. She MAY be ok with other cats with slow and proper introductions.

Kettle Corn was living outside when she gave birth to a litter of kittens. Almost all of them were killed by racoons. Kettle Corn ended up in rescue, where she was a surrogate mama to several other kittens. She's a gem, but might be a bit of a queen of her domain. 👑

Kettle Corn is around a year old. 🥳

Let us know if you’re intrigued by Kettle Corn! Contact us by Messenger or email: [email protected].

Find Your Heart for Fifi ❤️

This senior girl was in a bad way when she was brought to our attention. A kind person in a trailer park was trying to look out for Fifi, but her medical needs surpassed what the person could help with. She reached out to us, and we took Fifi in to get her some help.

🩺 Fifi was dehydrated, had bad teeth, bad ear infections, and was too skinny. We've slowly worked on her whole host of issues, and she's starting to come around. 🫶

She’s somewhat nervous around people, and can still shrink away at times. Once she allows petting, though, she’ll do an elevator butt when you give her scritches! 😺

This unique lady needs a home who can appreciate a senior kitty who had a tough life out on the streets for many years.

Fifi is around 10.5 years old. 🥳

Location: in foster
