🌟 Meet Scudders – A True Survivor Looking for His Forever Home 🌟
In early July, Scudders was found emaciated and injured on the side of the road. Just a baby, barely a year old, he had suffered severe trauma—likely from being thrown or falling from a moving vehicle. Both growth plates in his hind legs were fractured, an injury only seen in very young dogs.
Despite the odds, Scudders showed incredible resilience. With the help of a skilled vet tech foster, he began to heal and adapt to his new way of moving—hopping around with determination and spirit. His veterinarians were amazed by his recovery and agreed that surgery wouldn’t improve his quality of life. His healing was nothing short of miraculous.
💛 Scudders is a gentle soul. He’s shy at first, but once he trusts you, his playful and loving nature shines through. He adores other dogs, gets along with cats, and is learning crate training, leash walking, and even off-leash skills.
🏡 Scudders needs a special home—one that will:
- Provide regular, gentle exercise
- Keep his weight light and healthy
- Give him joint supplements
- Be patient as he continues to build trust
