We had an amazing start to the year with this first class tonight! Just like each hearing dog learns differently, we have two deaf dogs in class who learn differently as well. Great job tonight everyone!

I've been spending some time with some dogs out at the Central Nebraska Humane Society. I would like to share a little about what I have learned about Krackle (who is not currently available for adoption).
Krackle is a 1 year old Great Dane/Labrador mix weighing well a lot 😆. He is currently learning everything. Still being a puppy, and not realizing his size he is learning everything from how to walk on a leash, greet people, take treats, play with toys, not jumping/counter surfing. You name it we are working on it. I don't currently have information on when he would be available yet, but when he becomes available and if you are looking for a puppy giant who is learning amazing new things, loves to lean on you to get snuggles and body scratches, is good with dog drool 😆, loves to play fetch then Krackle is your dog!
*As soon as I know more on when Krackle becomes available I will share!

I've been spending some time with some dogs out at the Central Nebraska Humane Society. I would like to share a little about what I have learned about Tim Tam.
He is 7.5 year old Terrier/Pit Bull mix weighing about 53lbs. Every time I have greeted him at his kennel he hasn't barked once not even on our walks has he barked at other people or dogs. He pulls a little while walking from his kennel to outside, but once he is outside he walks so well on a leash. He picks up on new commands so quickly and love to learn new things. He always loves saying hello to people along the way and has those old soul loving eyes that just wants to snuggle with you. Anyone who looking for a super sweet, loving, angel on walks kind of dog Tim Tam is your dog!
Things we have worked on the last few times I have been with him:
Leash manners (heeling, stop, sit, turn, leave it)
Door Threshold (not bolting into a room or out of the building)
Taking treats nicely
