Bark Park at Granby Trails

Bark Park at Granby Trails The Bark Park is an off-leash dog park at Granby Trails. Its a great place for dogs to exercise and socialize safely with their responsible owners.

The Bark Park at Granby Trails is dog park concept being developed in partnership between Grand County Pet Pals, Grand County citizens and the Town of Granby. It will be an off-leash park with separate small and large dog areas. So yesterday we came to the Bark Park to access everything and are now facing this issue among others. Does anyone know who could weld this post back on and also the fence will need to be stretched back to close up that area? Any help would be appreciated. Please PM us. Thank you.

Just a reminder. We will be in contact w people who might be able to help with the issue. Until it's fixed, we unfortunately can't open it for the safety of the small and large dogs. Thanks for understanding. We are doing our best to resolve the issue. 😊

The Bark Park is closed for the season. We hope you had a great time!! The park next year will be opened a little later than usual since we will have to figure out how to fix the pond issue where the small dogs can go to the big dogs play yard and vice versa. If anyone has ideas, please PM us. We want the Bark Park to be as safe of a place that it can be for all the furs. We hope you have a wonderful holiday season. See you next year!!

Oh goodness!! Here is another challenge that will be happening. One of our counties amazing Sheriff's Office Dispatcher, Jodie and her awesome husband, Donnie are going to be a part of the fun. This challenge involves not laughing while you are getting peanut butter licked off of your face by an adorable fur. The one who laughs first is going to get pied by the winner. We can't wait!! Good luck to you both!!!

For 32 years, Pet Pals has been driven by one thing - love for animals.

That love is what keeps us showing up every day for the pets in our community, making sure every adoptable animal at the shelter gets the care, comfort, and support they need while they wait for their forever home.

Because of your support this year, we have real momentum:
• Our new animal shelter is officially under construction and we are aiming to be finished by the end of next summer (fingers crossed)
• Countless animals have received the essentials, plus the extras that make them feel safe, healthy, and loved

As 2025 comes to a close, we just want to say thank you. You make this work possible, and the animals feel it every single day.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Pet Pals.

It's here!!! COLORADO GIVES DAY. If you can donate to our non profit, we would truly appreciate it. Thanks for always supporting us.

Grand County Pet Pals is the non profit organization that is the supportive arm of the Grand County Animal Shelter. Even though we are two completely different entities, we have a wonderful partnership. Pet Pals original mission includes promoting responsible pet ownership through various programs such as spay/neuter services, provide veterinary care for shelter animals, pay for a trainer to come train the shelter animals before being adopted, assist pet owners financially who are in need among so many other things.
And now we have an added mission of leading the fundraising for the new animal shelter located in Granby. This is a huge endeavor for a small non profit but we could have never imagined this community not having an animal shelter
For Colorado Gives Day on December 9th we are raising funds for both our missions. Any help you could give to us, we hope to get closer to our final goal. We are around $300,000.00 short of that goal.
Pet Pals truly appreciates all the support you give to us year round. We want to thank you for being a part of our journey and for supporting the animals of our community. We hope to have the doors open at the new shelter by August 2026 and we look forward to seeing you at the Grand Opening.
