Colobus monkeys are built for life in the trees! 🌳 Their long arms and powerful legs help them leap between branches, while their specialized, multi-chambered stomachs help them digest a leafy diet. Unlike most monkeys, colobus monkeys have no thumbs (their name comes from a Greek word meaning “mutilated”) — an adaptation that may help them move efficiently through the treetops!

Milani has discovered browse… still having some mixed feelings about it. 😂🌿🦒

Fun fact: Giraffes can eat around 75 pounds of browse in a single day! That’s a LOT of leaves to chew on… but Milani might need a little more time to get on board. 😂💚
