One year ago today, we were on our way to church and out of the blue my husband asked… “What would you think of turning our back acre into a flower farm?”

Twelve months later, we have just finished wrapping things up with a successful first year and we are already dreaming and planning for how we can make next year even better.

In one year we have learned more than we have ever learned in a year, worked so many long, hard hours, completed a lot of “not fun” task, dreamed together, planned together, and watched a dream unfold into a reality! Dreams really can come true, but they don’t just happen on their own.

He told me he wasn’t taking pictures 🤨
But, this is the reality of my life the past few days, so thought I should share. Flower farming definitely isn’t just all about the pretty flowers that grew all summer. There have been so many unpretty parts of it all too!! And those are the parts that most didn’t get to see.
