Work in Progress Wednesday! This warm winter coat came to me after a well meaning dog chomped through the zipper and pocket to get to some treats. Pocket rebuild is shown here, now we can reconstruct the area of the jacket around the zipper. What are you working on this week? 🧥🧵🪡☀️

Custom projects hold a special place in my heart, this one in particular! My sister got married and I helped her create outfits for the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception. This reception outfit may be my favorite of the 3! I made an 8 panel circle skirt with border print cotton sateen and used a top pattern (that we modified to fit the brides preferences) to create this look. Of course, it HAS POCKETS.

Oh hello! It’s been a while since I’ve posted on Instagram but I’ve been doing lots of repairs behind the scenes, so to speak.

Here we have a well loved backpack in some before and after pics. I almost forgot the “before” picture so there are some pins and partial work done on the strap 😆

When reached out to me about her favorite fleece getting chewed by her pup, I had no idea it would be such a fun jacket to fix! This fleece has had lots of adventures and now, with a brand new zipper, it can continue the good life! We don’t live in the same place so she kindly mailed me the jacket and tomorrow it heads back to her!
I’ll gladly take mail repairs-reach out if you need some! 💌📬

A little before and after repair on a blown out seam of some snow pants. These North Face pants were in great condition prior to the rip. A repair is much more affordable than purchasing new ones! Patched with my favorite, Gear Aid and waterproof sealed with their water proof Seam Grip adhesive. Have you any gear that is in need of a mend? Send me a DM and we can work together to get your old gear a renewed lease on life for better adventuring!

Simmer pots are a lovely way to refresh your home. This one has chamomile, cloves, thyme, rosemary, calendula, and the beautiful pummelo citrus! We also ladled some of this into a warm bowl for an herbal steam to help relieve congestion.

Immune Support Tea! This one isn’t on Etsy and it’s been a while since I’ve made a batch of it. We got our boosters on Sunday, I was nervous about feeling craptastic as the previous doses sorta took me out. I’ll gladly take a couple days of feeling crummy over Covid ANYDAY. Plants are magic but we need science, too. This magical blend supports the immune system in several ways and I think definitely eased some of the symptoms as my insides worked hard to learn how to keep me safe.

Morning in the mountains, crisp and fresh! Enjoying some tea and the leaves, what is your favorite morning beverage? I stopped drinking coffee this year 😳 and have enjoyed trying different black or green teas in the morning. Today is Thai tea with a leftover dollop of whipped coconut cream 🫖🥥😍it’s a treat!

Oooof! Packing a small business is no small feat! I’ve been quiet over here because we’ve been packing and getting ready to start the next chapter. Thank you for your patience as I get set up in the next few weeks, it’ll take some time to get everything reorganized.

Buzz Off, Allergies! is back in stock 🌾 🐝 🍃 Fight those sniffles and sneezes with a cup of delicious tea!
How is spring in your neck of the woods? It’s been blustery and chillier than normal in mine. Slow to start but spring is definitely springing! I’ll take that over the truly awful heat dome we had last year!
I’m constantly on the hunt for blooming lilac bushes (they’re close!) for a fun project for the shop. Stay tuned, I’ll share as nature provides 💜

I don’t often put my face in view but this is well worth sharing! My face has combination skin, some is dry and some is oily. I have had red areas for as long as I can remember. LOOK at the magic of calendula! I applied the Calendula Balm after washing my face as a moisturizer instead of my normal application just around the eyes. These two pictures were taken about an hour apart! Reduced redness in a big way and my face feels so luxurious! Launching soon so you too can feel aaaahmazing! Side note: it also worked splendidly to remove my mascara-it does it all!
