Holiday Season took us for a whirlwind of a ride! 🤭

But we are back on track! Plus with a new addition to our reptile room 💖✨

Meet Lemuria, a 4 almost 5 year old African Spurr Sulcata Tortoise. 🐢

She is in her temporary tank as her pen is being built.

Pictured is Pono observing Lemuria eating some greens prior to him getting his breakfast. (The nerve)

Mari 🐍 goes against “Stop and smell the 🌼 flowers”

This is one flower you do not want to smell 💩🤣

Glad 😌 his bowel movements are regular and he

was so happy to show me.

I’m our plant section the cactus are budding 🌸

Excited for when they bloom! Clippings will come

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

It’s been quiet around here lately — everyone’s been cozy and calm. But guess who’s up bright and early? Mr. Pacha! 🐍✨

Last night was his first night back after spending some special time visiting Miss Portal’s enclosure. It was their first full overnight together, and everything went beautifully.

He’s looking relaxed, curious, and happy this morning — clearly proud of himself! 💛

The energy in the reptile room feels peaceful and connected today… a gentle start to a new chapter. 🌿

Our main Bird of Paradise 🦜 💚

Unraveled a new leaf! 🍃✨

Pono and Kahuna are helping with tank clean out 🐾

It’s been pretty quiet with the cool autumn 🍂

Plus after feeding 🐍 It’s about that time where

everyone is at a safe time length to be handled again.

Enjoy the rest of your week 🌙⭐️✨

🪧 Feeding Friday… on a Saturday! 🐍🍽️

We might be a day late, but the snakes don’t mind! 😄

🌀 Mari showed off his usual dining manners — he loves dipping his food in water after he’s finished constricting it. A true gourmet! 💦✨

🍌 Pacha and Portal continue to be the most efficient eaters of the bunch — calm, precise, and done before anyone else even gets started.

🐍 You can really tell the difference between the young ones and the older crew during feeding time. The younger snakes sometimes miss their strikes or spend extra time figuring out the best angle to swallow — a little clumsy, a lot cute.

Overall, a successful feeding day — no food strikes, no stress, just full bellies and happy scales. 🫶🏼🌿

🌙 Who’s Tucked In Tonight at Eclipse Exotics?

Eclipse Exotics bedtime report 💤

🦋 Mari (our Mariposa, the social butterfly himself) is hanging out with me tonight — he always knows when it’s cozy time.

🐍 Miss Portal is literally hanging out in her hammock again! It’s adorable… though it makes changing her water dish a little tricky, so she’ll get fresh water in the morning. 😅

🍋 Nevada, our Lemon Blast morph, finally came out to say hello — such a calm, sweet soul with the gentlest energy.

💦 Celestia and Mr. Tumnus decided it was splash zone night! Both made huge waves in their water bowls, so tank changes are definitely on tomorrow’s to-do list.

🔥 Tirian is basking under his heat source, wide awake and looking majestic — he’s clearly ready for a night of exploring.

Everyone’s tucked, soaking, or glowing in their own way. The reptile room hums with peace tonight. 🌿💛

🌅 Who’s Up This Afternoon at Eclipse Exotics?

Mr. Pacha has been up and active today — joining me in spirit as I drum around our sacred space. He’s definitely feeling the rhythm of the season! 🪘🐍💛

Now it’s time for tank misting, letting that warm humidity rise like incense through their enclosures. The house feels alive — soft rain energy, scales shimmering, peace in motion. ✨

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

We’re back home! ✨ The home + pet sitters said they had a heavenly time holding down the fort — though Leo, our newest big boy, made sure to demand a little extra attention. 🐍💛

It’s the Last Quarter Moon in Cancer, and you can feel that cozy, stretch-it-out energy in the reptile room. Everyone’s basking, shifting, or curling just right — a collective exhale after a bright full moon week. 🌕➡️🌗

And let’s be honest… they’re all a little too curious 👀 about the new mammal we brought home. (They can sense body heat, after all!) 🔥

The den feels lively, warm, and full of wonder again. Welcome home, us! 🌿

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

Just assume Mari is always up to greet us first — that boy never misses a morning roll call! ☀️

Our Mojave brothers were out and about too, curious as ever to meet the house + pet sitter while we’re away for the weekend. They’ve clearly decided supervision requires inspection! 🕵️‍♂️🐍

💧 Miss Portal was up this morning as well, looking around like she’s wondering where her charming Pacha has gone. Last evening they had their second interaction — and let’s just say, she didn’t say no… but she definitely told him to wait! 💛

Love is patient — even in the reptile room. 🌿✨

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

The boys are up — even if it’s just a few curious eyes peeking from their caves. 👀
🐍 Portal, our oldest, is awake and soaking in her water like a queen greeting the day.
💧 Celestia, our youngest, is doing her own version — soaking and side-eyeing the room with full attitude.

The weather’s cooled to the point where we’ve had to turn up the house heat, though their enclosures stay cozy as ever. Still, nature’s rhythm runs deep — this crisp autumn air is when the call of breeding season begins. 🍂

Our males are starting to feel it:
You may notice them becoming more active at night, tongue-flicking more often, exploring their enclosures like they’re searching for something.
It’s instinct — an ancient rhythm that awakens as temperatures dip and pressure shifts, signaling that it’s time for courtship and connection.

Even in their quiet world, the season’s pulse can be felt. 💛

Pictured is our oldest male Pacha who is a banana peeking 🫣 from his coconut husk cave.

Side-Eyeing from her clutter is Celestia 👀

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

We woke up under a frost advisory this morning ❄️ — the first true whisper of autumn rolling in.

It’s still nice and toasty inside for our reptile friends, but you can tell they feel the shift in air pressure and temperature. 🍂

🐍 Mari was the only one brave enough to peek out and greet us — probably making sure the world hadn’t turned to ice overnight!

Everyone else seems to be tucked in tight, riding out the brisk autumn vibes from the comfort of their warm hides. 💛

Sometimes even the scaliest souls love a cozy morning in.

🌅 Who’s Up This Morning at Eclipse Exotics?

We’re just past the peak of the Full Moon’s energy, and the reptile room feels calm and dreamy today. ✨

🌀 Mari is the only one still lounging proudly on top of his moss cave — soaking in those last lunar vibes like a little moon king.

🐍 Tirian, one of our Mojave brothers, has been exploring quietly this morning — slow, steady, and curious as ever.

🌸 Tiger’s Eye, our new pastel female who usually keeps to herself, made a graceful early appearance too — maybe the moon’s magic reached her heart last night.

Everything feels peaceful this morning — the perfect lull after the cosmic high. 💫
