We are firmly into the time of "I need to go potty", "I need a sip of water", "I heard a noise", etc... every 10 minutes after bedtime and even into the night, and I am SO grateful that Hubby is the one to get up with the kiddo at night.

I am generally not one to explain myself to others, especially random folks on the internet.
I am happier for it.
As long as it is not unsafe (like actually, truly unsafe) and it works for your family, then do it! If someone wants to have an opinion about what your family does, they are completely welcome to have it... and keep it... to themselves.

Do you have a strong willed kid? How's it going for you?
I love her spirit, I truly do, and I am thankful that we are raising a strong child because she will need that strength in this world.
But occasionally, I just need her to get dressed, or eat her damn dinner, or get ready to shower without the fight 🥴

"We don't have to be everything every day to our kids"
There is so much pressure on moms these days to do everything from scratch, to do it perfectly, and to make it seem like staying up until 3am decorating your 3 year old's birthday cupcakes isn't actually your own personal hell. 😵
I say, enough is enough, and you are enough; Store-bought cupcakes and all!
It's okay if you're not the "Pinterest Perfect Mom." Who's actually got time for that???
It's okay if the cupcakes are store-bought, the crafts are a kit, and the family moments are a little chaotic. Behind closed doors, even the mythical "perfect" mom's house is full of Kid Chaos™
