We are very excited to introduce our newest party animal! This incredibly cute Black Throat Monitor! 🤩
​Not only does this type of monitor grow to be quite impressive (up to 7 feet!), but they are also known for being gentle giants, especially for presentations and interaction, which is perfect for our parties and assemblies.
​We've been spending a lot of time getting this one settled in and it is doing very well! Now comes the hardest part... we need a name!
​The kids have been tossing around a few ideas, and we’ve narrowed it down to two favorites, but we just can't decide. We want something that fits this reptile's personality and has a backstory.
​So we are calling on our SoCalJungle family to help us vote! Should the name be:

Guacamole and Chips are parents! One baby hatched on the 17th and the other was on the 19th. Hard to believe they even fit in their eggs! Chips is a grumpy mom. The last picture is my hand after she grabbed me while I was feeding her. 😅🤣 🦎🦎

Yesterday Earth Day kept us busy! The kids and I did for shows. The first was Earth day at the Glendora Library.
