At Mostly Muttz Rescue, it is our passion to save dogs with life-long special needs and acute medical needs as well as healthy, more easily adoptable dogs. We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the duration of their lives.

Today marks one full year — one year since Belle came back into our care.

Over these twelve months, this beautiful girl has been surrounded by love. Our incredible team of walkers has adored her, and several kind fosters have opened their homes and hearts to her — sometimes for a few weeks, sometimes for many months — while we searched for a permanent place for her to finally call home. Through it all, Belle has handled every change with grace and resilience. She’s been patient, brave, and endlessly loving.

Her foster families love her so much that they even came together to sponsor her adoption fee — they just want the world to see what they see in her.

Belle dreams of a calm, quiet home where she can truly exhale — one without the hustle and bustle of constant visitors, where someone will love her simply for who she is. She’s ready to be someone’s once-in-a-lifetime dog.

While Belle would be perfectly content soaking up all the love and attention as the only pet, she also does well with calm, laid-back dogs her own size.

After a year of waiting, Belle deserves her happy ending — a place to belong, a family to love, and a forever to finally call her own.

Welcome to Mostly Muttz Rescue, Mandy!

Mandy is a total sweetheart — the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. She’s 3 years old, around 29 pounds, and full of charm. She’s got this adorable habit of sitting politely before every meal… though she’ll also bark to remind you if you’re taking too long to get it ready!

Mandy loves hanging out with her foster brother, Hudson, and will happily chase toys or balls, but she’s just as content curling up on the couch with her people. She’s housebroken (she’ll bark at the door when she needs to go out) and does great in her crate.

She has a nice, easy energy — happy to play, happy to relax — and she’ll melt your heart with her kisses and cuddles. Mandy’s just one of those dogs who makes every day a little bit sweeter.

Mandy is fostered in Pottstown (Montgomery County), Pennsylvania and is ready to head home with an adopter.

Hudson is a young, happy-go-lucky pup with a heart full of love and a personality that fills the room! Compact in size but bursting with energy and charm, Hudson is on the lookout for an active family who’s ready for fun, adventure, and plenty of affection.

This sweet boy lives for love and attention. He’s the kind of pup who will lean into your hugs, follow you around the house, and bring a big smile to your face every day. He’s still learning some of the finer points of good manners, but hey – he’s young, eager, and just needs someone to show him the ropes.

If you’re looking for a spirited companion who will keep you on your toes, shower you with kisses, and be your adventure buddy for life, Hudson might just be your perfect match. Give him a little patience and a lot of love, and you’ll be rewarded with a best friend like no other.

From the moment you meet Mindi, you can feel there’s something truly special about her.

This sweet Lab mix has a quiet strength and a heart full of love. Though her journey started in a rural shelter where her future looked uncertain, one compassionate vet saw past her neurological quirks and believed in her. He saw not a problem to be fixed, but a beautiful soul who deserved a chance at life—and maybe, even more than that, a real home.

He welcomed her into his life, giving her a safe place to rest and heal while he searched for someone who would believe in her the way he did. That belief led Mindi to us—and now, finally, to a warm foster home where she’s experiencing all the things every dog should: soft beds, cozy crates, freedom to stretch her legs, and, most importantly, love.

And Mindi? She’s blossoming. 💛 She’s incredibly gentle with cats and kind around other dogs, even if she’s still figuring out how to play. Her little wobble makes her movement uniquely hers, and while she might stumble now and then, she keeps going—with courage and grace. Because of this, we think a home with older kids (10+) would be best as she continues building her confidence.

Mindi loves her walks and trots along with enthusiasm—though she’ll need someone steady on the leash. She enjoys soft toys, yard time, and, like a true Lab, she’s highly food-motivated (meals in her own space help keep her happy and relaxed). She’s also a bit of an escape artist, so a securely fenced yard is a must.

One of Mindi’s most endearing traits? She’s a “leaner”—gently pressing into you for reassurance, connection, and love. She’s house-trained, sleeps soundly in her crate through the night, and always wants to be near her people. She doesn’t ask for much—just a safe place to belong and someone to love her as deeply as she’ll love them.

Today, Mindi is surrounded by people who believe in her. Her past doesn’t define her—it’s only the beginning of a beautiful new chapter.

We know her perfect match is out there. Someone kind, patient, and ready to welcome a truly special dog into their heart.
