We will be set up at the Clark County Saddle Club Memorial Classic race, offering massage, cryotherapy (horse and human), and saddle fit checks Friday-Sun.

One of the biggest misconceptions about saddle fit is that if the horse β€œisn’t sore,” the saddle fits.

The reality is… many horses compensate LONG before obvious pain shows up.

A saddle can create subtle restriction, uneven pressure, or instability that leads to:
β€’ Tight shoulders
β€’ Hollowing through the back
β€’ Shortened stride
β€’ Behavioral changes
β€’ One-sided muscling
β€’ Poll/TMJ tension
β€’ Hip asymmetry and compensation patterns

Sadly, by the time the you notice the symptoms above, the muscular and fascial damage is typically significant and takes much longer to restore.

Saddle fit isn’t just about the saddle.
It’s about how the horse can MOVE underneath it.

I am continually seeking opportunities to sharpen my skills and knowledge in order to better serve my clients. Saddle fit issues, cinch placement, and the resulting biomechanical implications are common concerns that I frequently encounter.

Because of this, I have decided to grow my expertise in saddle fitting, enabling me to provide more effective guidance to my clients and promote the long-term well-being of their horses.

More to come, but I’m extremely excited to take you all along on this new venture!
