Cobar, the 7 year old Devils Garden Mustang is moving along really awesome. He got his first ride out of the round pen last night and first ride into the real world this morning. He is so leaves headed and calm.

Meet Mr. Riffel, he belongs to a client who took a chance on a horse with no info, just hearsay. First video is my first time working with him. I knew something was off, and he was uncomfortable, I couldn't place my finger on what. Back injury, saddle fit, EPM, to short of a trim, spoiled? Well I decided to start eliminating potential issues starting with the chiropractor. After 3 TMJ adjustments, 2 good mid back pops, and an assessment of his fused hips, he is a much happier boy. 2nd video is 3 days after chiro visit, and he rides so much better. I don't think I have worked out all his issues yet, but we are much closer.

Normally I have good instinct on a horses past after a couple days of messing with them, but this guy has me stumped. We don't know why he was sold at auction in Texas, what his life was like there, and his behaviors have too many inconsistencies.

I am following the chiropractors advice to take it slow, and work on building strength and conditioning, as well as making sure he wants to roll after work. Rolling is the best way to keep your horse adjusted well and happy. I will post update as he progresses.

6 year old sorrel mare. Sweet mare that is easy to catch, loves people and attention. Loads and hauls great, good for the farrier, deworming, ties, bathes, stands for saddling. She loads great, ties, no pull back.

She just finished 60 days training, focusing on miles, and desensitizing. Lots of trail miles, in the mountains, dry creek beds, county blocks, with traffic, dogs, trash cans. She is good in the water and likes to swim. She rides alone or in a group.

Bridie gets along with other horses, mares or geldings and babies. Fun to hop on and go, no lunging necessary. She is still considered green, rides in a snaffle bit. She has a great mind, sane and sound.
