We have had an exciting week here at Breezy Paws with two new training graduates!

Lex (with the graduation cap!) started out almost 4 months ago with our beginners obedience program. Lex’s mom had already done so much work with her to make her feel loved and settled after adopting her. But she needed some help setting up foundational obedience and she wanted to have a closer connection with Lex. We started small with some basic obedience and building a communication pathway with play and boundaries. We used obedience - sit/stay, leave it, find it, come among others! - to achieve this and let me just say they took to it so quickly! Speed ahead to the last month where Lex has strong recall, really focused obedience, and an even stronger bond with her owner. It truly looks like they are actually communicating sometimes! Now, I’m so proud to say that Lex is an AKC certified Canine Good Citizen! This is a huge accomplishment and takes lots of dedicated work to earn! I’m so excited to see what you do next and am so grateful to have been a part of your journey!

Tito is another one I am so proud of. He’s come such a long way with his owner. Tito started out as an anxiously excited dog who really needed some direction and guidance to feel more secure. I immediately saw that Tito loved his ball and playing fetch with his owner, or really anyone who would be willing to play with him! Ball is life to Tito! We used this as well as basic obedience to build his bond and connection to his owner, teaching him over time to look to them for guidance instead of letting his anxious brain take over. With the right tools and strategies in place, Tito is doing great and I truly believe he will continue to thrive! He is the sweetest boy and I’m so glad to have met you all! Thank you for trusting me 💕

While I’m so grateful for all the love and support from my MA clients, it’s time for a new chapter — and that means new pups to train, new communities to connect with, and new adventures to come. 🐶💛

Hey Friends and Family! I wanted to share an exciting opportunity to have some fun while supporting a cause that's very close to my heart.

As many of you know, I volunteer at Ruff Tales Rescue, a wonderful rescue dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs in need. We are hosting our annual Co****le Tournament, which serves as our biggest fundraiser of the year. The funds raised during this event are crucial for providing medical care, food, shelter, and other essentials for the dogs in our care.
