Gucci is a sweet six year old pittie who, along with his sister Chanel, was surrendered to the Gloucester County Animal Shelter when their family tragically lost their home in a fire. Gucci is a total lovebug: affectionate, gentle, does well with both dogs and cats, and fine with respectful children. He loves playing with toys and is also happy just curling up next to you and snuggling. Pet of the Week: Meet Lola!

This little princess is Lola, a 6 year old Bichon mix. She is a very sweet and timid little lady. Her perfect home would be a quiet environment with adults. Lola has been around other dogs her size and will do fine with a doggy companion to play with. She is submissive and sadly hand shy, but warms up quickly once she trusts you. (Snacks are the way to her heart!) After getting a groom and bath she feels like a brand new dog. We think she may prefer to live with a single person that is home often. Lola will need time and patience while she settles in, as a lifetime of instability has left her with some behavior quirks. We know she is going to make a great companion for someone with a little time. She is waiting to meet you! Come by the Voorhees Animal Orphanage soon to meet her, she won't be around long!

Peso was lost once and now, in a way, he’s lost all over again.

At 14 years old and just 7 tiny pounds, he’s endured more than most. After spending two long years missing from his home, we were overjoyed to reunite him with his owner this past December.

But heartbreak struck again. Peso’s person recently passed away and now he’s back in our care. His world has changed so many times and he deserves a constant.

Peso is a gentle, quiet soul who wants nothing more than a warm lap and a soft place to rest. He’s not asking for much… just a peaceful home and someone to love him through his final chapter.
