Before training, this girl struggled with severe reactivity — barking, lunging, and even biting another dog. Through focused sessions, we built her confidence and taught her to trust me.
At a busy flea market, she stayed calm around barking dogs and even a dog that tried to bite us from behind.
Today wasn’t about obedience — it was about trust, control, and pushing through challenges without panic.
Leash control was key to prevent reactivity and make sure she didn’t “win” by reacting, which would only make future progress harder.

A dog that helped me get to where I am has passed away. This dog was always a bit nippy with treats but was such a fun friend and an incredible animal to work with. It sucks that dogs are only with us for about a tenth of our lives, yet they help us through so much—more than we could ever repay.
