🚨 Community Alert: Backyard Breeding & Donation Abuse 🚨

We need to address a serious issue that has come to our attention and been affecting our ability to help families who are truly struggling.

Over the past several years, we have seen repeated patterns from this individual, creating fake accounts, requesting free food and supplies while simultaneously engaging in backyard breeding activities.
This includes:

• Breeding animals while claiming financial hardship
• Using multiple identities to request donations
• Taking large amounts of supplies meant for families in genuine crisis
• Misrepresenting their situation to gain ongoing assistance

Let’s be clear:
Backyard breeding while relying on community donations is exploitation — of the animals, of the system, and of the generosity of this community.

This behavior is unethical, irresponsible, and harmful. It drains resources from pets who truly need help and contributes to the very overpopulation crisis our rescue community works so hard to fight.

Millie’s Paw Pantry will not support or enable backyard breeding in any form. Anyone engaging in these behaviors will be permanently removed from our assistance list, and repeated patterns will be documented and reported through the proper channels.

We are here to help responsible pet owners and families in real need — not to subsidize breeding operations or deceptive practices.

If you notice suspicious activity, repeated requests under different names, or signs of backyard breeding tied to donation requests, please report it to us privately. Your awareness protects the integrity of this program and the animals we serve.

This tiny baby was rescued after being found scared and crying for help inside a neighborhood drainage hole. She’s now safe — but her rescue opened the door to something even bigger.

Just days later, 16 more kittens in urgent need were found at another location. We’re working to save every one of them, but we desperately need donations to help cover vet care.

Billy’s final hold date at Harnett County Animal Shelter is 5/26, and this sweet boy is truly running out of time. He is gentle, loving, dog‑friendly, kid‑friendly, and he met every moment of his “Shelter Break Day” with hope in his eyes.

His adoption fee is fully sponsored, and Millie’s Paw Pantry will cover his food for 1 full year and help with his vetting if we find his adopter.
