To my fosters — this one is for you. 🩷🐾
I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how much you mean to me and to Purrfect Paws.
You don’t just open your homes to cats. You help carry the physical and mental load of running a rescue.
You transport. You show up to events. You drive back and forth for medications, vaccines, and vet appointments. You send daily updates, monitor weights, notice the little changes, clean the messes, give the medications, lose sleep, worry, celebrate the good days, and help me through the hard ones.
And sometimes, you simply show up when I need you.
Every time you say “I can help,” “I can take them,” “I can drive,” or “I’ll keep an eye on them,” you take a little bit of the weight off my shoulders. You make it possible for me to keep saying yes to cats who desperately need someone.
Running a rescue can be incredibly overwhelming, and I know I couldn’t do this without you. The work you do behind the scenes may not always be seen, but I see it. I appreciate it. And I am endlessly grateful for it.
Thank you for trusting me, for trusting this rescue, and most importantly, for loving these cats like they’re your own.
Purrfect Paws is not one person. It’s all of us. 🐾🩷
