At Purrfect Paws Rescue, we always try to say yes.
Yes to the strays.
Yes to the injured cats.
Yes to the pregnant moms and tiny kittens.
Yes to TNR.
Yes to the ones nobody else will help.
We play kennel Tetris daily, shuffle fosters, rearrange rooms, and get creative just to make space for one more life that needs us.
Right now, we need help.
Over the next two weeks alone, we have 36 surgeries scheduled, on top of an upcoming amputation and the constant emergencies that never seem to stop. This past week has broken our hearts — we’ve experienced five losses and made three emergency vet visits while still fighting around the clock for the animals depending on us.
Those 36 surgery appointments will cost us at least $2,000, and right now, we cannot cover it.
These surgeries prevent suffering and help us continue rescuing cats in need.
We are exhausted. We are grieving. But we are still showing up every single day because these cats deserve that fight.
