Are you a young dressage professional ready to invest in your future?

The Dressage Foundation’s George Williams Young Professional Fund was created to support young instructors and trainers who are committed to growing their businesses, expanding their education, and strengthening the future of dressage in the United States.

This $5,000 grant helps dressage professionals ages 25–35 pursue continuing education that will elevate both their teaching and training. Whether you dream of attending the USDF Instructor/Trainer Development Program, the L Education Program, or another high-level educational experience, this fund was designed to help you take the next step.

Established in 2018 in honor of George Williams and his lifelong commitment to dressage, this grant recognizes professionals who are dedicated to their students, their businesses, and their own growth in the sport.

Applicants should have:
✨ An established business as an instructor/trainer
✨ Riding experience at Third Level or above
✨ A clear and attainable training plan which includes a formal instructor/trainer education program

🗓 Application Deadline: June 1

Clinic Report: Suzanne Galdun 📝

"Suzanne, who turns out to be a wizard, was able to quickly connect the dots between my hip issues and positional weaknesses... As a result of this work, my instructor, Leah, noticed that my tendency to balance and over-position with my left hand had vanished, as I was finally working with my right side more 'on-line.' Sorcery, right? Nope. Somehow, just biomechanics."

First appearing in the North Woods Dressage Association newsletter, "The Accent" (June 2025), this article was a nominee in the 2025 GMO Newsletter Awards for first-person experience articles for GMOs with 75-174 members. 🎖️
