β οΈ URGENTLY SEEKING SPONSOR β οΈ
If you saw my post on the Nextdoor platform, you know the neighborhood colony has kept me on my toes lately (and that Iβm still "accidentally" spilling a lot of food for them). But over here on FB, I want to talk about the bigger picture and the very real, very urgent situation we are facing right now.
Currently, I have two HEAVILY pregnant community mamas in the colony.
My ultimate goal for every single cat out here is always TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return). Itβs the only humane way to manage the population. But the brutal reality of independent rescue is that itβs a constant race against the clock and a massive financial strain. Sometimes, despite my best efforts, mamas get pregnant before I can get them to a clinic.
To be completely transparent, navigating the local TNR landscape has become incredibly difficult. Because of human politics and folly, Fresno TNR is no longer an avenue available to me. Itβs incredibly frustrating when doors are closed to independent rescuers, because ultimately, itβs the innocent cats who suffer the consequences of human issues.
But I refuse to give up on these cats. I am pivoting and working to utilize alternative resources (like the Kirkland Foundation & the Hope Foundation) to get these cats the care they need.
In the meantime, these two pregnant girls are here, and they need immediate intervention. My hope is to get them into a clinic for emergency spay surgeries as quickly as possible. If it turns out that we miss our chance, they will require safe indoor medical holds, specialized nutrition, and care until everyone can be safely fixed and placed. If it comes to that, I will also urgently need to find a dedicated foster home capable of taking in a mama and her newborns, as my own indoor space is entirely at capacity. ππ»
Either way, I cannot shoulder the medical and care costs for these two mamas alone.
I am looking for a dedicated sponsor for each of these two pregnant mamas. ππ
A sponsorship will directly cover their immediate medical needs, high-calorie nutrition, safe indoor sheltering, vet checks, and their surgeries so we can stop the cycle of overpopulation for them once and for all.
If you are in a position to sponsor a mama, or want to contribute toward their medical holds (even a few dollars can help!), please reach out to me directly via DM or use the links below. Alternatively, if you prefer to contribute directly to the facility that will handle the medical care for them, please contact me via DM so we can coordinate and arrange that with the clinic.

Independent rescue takes more than just an individual, it truly takes a village, especially when the local system makes it harder instead of easier. Thank you all for seeing these π» cats, respecting their lives, and helping me keep them safe and fed.
Lots of Love,
