Who wants to go Nov 29?

The Zoo trip! I said I’d post what I thought about the first sniffari night I’ve attended. Guess it’s only the second year… buying tickets ahead of time is soo helpful. Parking took the longest as the kiosks weren’t working, but the third one did! And scanning to pay wouldn’t allow a card to be added. They definitely need some extra security and help out there, and to fix that issue. I wonder how much parking is actually enforced.

It was fun! Much more relaxed with ample space compared to what I expected. Really no oversight. It was a bunch of dogs and their humans wondering around a fairly dark zoo where most the animals were sleeping or possibly locked away from sight. I’m sure safety was in mind for those predators we weren’t able to see tonight. 99% of the humans were well behaved, and their dogs copied! It was a warm welcome. Super cute costumes.

A few disappointing trick or treat stands… it’s a dog night! What about tasty candy and a dog biscuit in that bag? I’d assume Waterhouse and/or Elaine’s would be supplying that. 🤨. I gotta scratch my head on that cute paper bag with only a piece of paper in it. But… we had our own snacks and had a blast wondering around! We did get lost but the lights helped to know what sections we had already visited.

The dogs were intrigued by the flamingos! And the other dogs and people walking on different levels. It was great training ground and plenty of space to bring even a pup in training! Or one that does not want other dogs in their face. The zoo was beautiful and the animals peaceful.

I’m still wondering how they keep the bald eagle from flying away! lol.

We saw some of you we knew and couldn’t find others. So many paths to take and such a fun Halloween evening. 🙂 🎃

I definitely would go again and recommend sniffari night.

Domino and Sandy have been an absolute joy to train and watch grow over the years. I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible bond they share with their people, and it's truly heartwarming to see dogs receive such unwavering commitment. Though all good things must come to an end, Domino's legacy lives on, and the love he left behind will forever be cherished. Domino lived a life filled with wonder, and his impact on those around him was profound. Thank you, Carolyn and Mark, for loving Domino unconditionally and making the ultimate sacrifice. I know the pain you're facing, the hardest yet most profound part of loving a pet. 💔 May Domino run free, reunited with friends in a place where joy knows no bounds, where he'll once again be the spirited “sled dog” we know he is.
