HE HAD NO HOME… BUT HE FOUND A SAFE PLACE IN THE ARMS OF JESUS.
Visitors to a quiet cemetery in Brazil began noticing the same touching sight—a black-and-white stray cat peacefully curled up in the arms of a statue of Jesus.
The little cat had reportedly been wandering around the cemetery, where compassionate visitors would leave food and water for him. But when it was time to rest, he kept returning to one special place.
The arms of the statue became his favorite bed. 🥹
Elevated from the ground and away from disturbance, it offered him a peaceful place where he could curl up and sleep.
Photos of the unusual friendship between a stray cat and his chosen resting place soon spread online, touching the hearts of animal lovers around the world.
Of course, the little cat may have no understanding of the symbolism people see in the scene. To him, perhaps it is simply a place where he feels comfortable and safe.
