If you’re heading out of town for Labor Day weekend and need someone to care for your furry, feathered, finned, or scaled family members, NOW is the time to book! Our remaining drop-in availability is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

☀️🐾 HOT PAWS MODE ACTIVATED! 🐾☀️

Due to the forecast of dangerously high temperatures, Theuerkauf’s Tails Pet Services, LLC will be operating in Hot Paws Mode beginning Thursday, August 13th, through Saturday, August 15th.

During this time, all scheduled dog walks will automatically be converted into enrichment sessions to keep both our furry friends and our pet sitters safe from the extreme heat.

🐶 What to expect:
🐾 A brief potty break outdoors (weather permitting)
🎾 Indoor playtime and enrichment activities
🧩 Mental stimulation
💛 Plenty of snuggles, love, and attention in the comfort of your air-conditioned home

When sidewalks and pavement become dangerously hot, they can burn sensitive paw pads in just seconds. Combined with high air temperatures and humidity, outdoor exercise can quickly become unsafe for both pets and people.

💧 Please help keep your pets safe by:
• Providing plenty of fresh, cool water
• Limiting outdoor activity during the hottest part of the day
• Checking pavement temperatures before walks
• Never leaving pets in parked vehicles

The safety, health, and well-being of your beloved companions—and our amazing pet sitters—will always be our top priority.
