🐾❤️ What a TERRIFIC way to end a picnic! ❤️🐾

Frederick Health Hospital, in partnership with Wags for Hope, brought some extra smiles, wagging tails, and unconditional love to the picnic! 🐶🦙

Check out these pawsome therapy animal teams who stopped by to brighten everyone’s day: Team Everlast, Team Winston, and Team Maya! 🐾✨

There’s something truly special about the presence of a therapy animal. A gentle nuzzle, a wagging tail, or simply sitting beside someone can bring comfort, laughter, reduce stress, and create moments of connection. ❤️

That’s why having therapy animals as part of Frederick Health Hospital is such a PAWSOME idea! 🏥🐾 Therapy animals can help make a hospital environment feel a little less stressful and a lot more welcoming—not just for patients, but for families, visitors, and healthcare staff too.

Today, Wags For Hope is celebrating ALL dogs—our incredible therapy dog teams and the wonderful dogs who fill our homes and hearts with unconditional love! 🐶🥰

Our therapy dogs do something truly special. They bring comfort to someone having a difficult day, a smile to a child reading a book, companionship to someone who feels lonely, and joy wherever their paws take them. 🐾📚💙

Our therapy teams Woodie, Simon, and Lucy were all ears as they listened to some wonderful book stories. 🐶📖🐾

From our youngest readers to adults, it was heartwarming to see so many people enjoying the comfort, companionship, and unconditional love of our therapy dogs. 🥰🐾

Wags For Hope is proud to stand alongside Cool’s Legacy Inc. and other amazing organizations for Kilometers & Kegs for Su***de Prevention.

This is more than a 5K or Fun Run. It is an opportunity for our community to come together, start conversations, spread awareness, support prevention, and let those who are struggling know that they are NOT alone. 💙

Our Therapy Dogs have a unique ability to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of calm to people who may be going through difficult times. Sometimes a conversation starts with simply sitting beside a dog, giving them a hug, or feeling that unconditional love that only a therapy animal can provide.

That is why joining forces with Cool’s Legacy, Wags For Hope, JB27, the Mental Health Association of Frederick County, and other organizations is so important. Together, we can reach more people, create stronger support systems, encourage conversations about mental health, and remind our community that asking for help is a sign of strength—not weakness.
