Since 2004 I have been the only breeder in Maryland for the American Saddlebred. Yesterday it was brought to my attention by a good friend of mine who called me and told me that one of my mares was going to be killed very soon. I was totally upset that anyone would take a horse to an auction for kill !! No excuse there are plenty of folks looking for horses at online classifieds. Today I managed to get the funds to buy her back and get her shipped back home. Thank you Timmy for calling me and you are a true friend !
